Department of Conservation Serviced Adult Hut Ticket — Green

The Department of Conservation Te Papa Atawhai (DOC) manages more than 950 huts in Aotearoa New Zealand. Huts come in all shapes and sizes and provide unique places to stay while exploring the backcountry.

Department of Conservation (DOC) serviced hut tickets are used to pay for adult accommodation in our serviced DOC huts throughout the New Zealand backcountry.

For serviced huts, you will need to use one serviced hut ticket (green ticket) per adult, per night.

Please fill out your details on the ticket and place the ticket in the honesty box provided at the hut. Please remember to fill out the hut intentions book with your details and intentions too.

DOC hut tickets now have an expiry dates.

At the point of sale please manually add an expiry date to the ticket. Tickets should be dated to the month and year e.g. a ticket purchased in September 2023 should have an expiry date of September 2024. This can be stamped or written onto the ticket in the date of expiry field.

Tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
